The challenge was to efficiently manage design, finalize CAD drawings, optimize tooling, and coordinate with multiple suppliers under tight deadlines and stringent quality requirements. Our team streamlined these processes to ensure precise and timely delivery.

The Solutions

During this project we took the lead in managing the  end-to-end process.

We refined CAD drawings and optimized tooling to meet Metro Trains’ specs. Working closely with Ogis Engineering and casting suppliers, we made necessary modifications like adding tapers to aluminum clamps. Handling supplier communications and logistics ensured a smooth production process.

We commenced by reviewing and enhancing Ogis Engineering’s CAD drawings, ensuring they met all technical requirements.

We improved tooling and product specifications, managed international logistics to ensure timely delivery to Sydney and Melbourne for installation. Proactive communication with Ogis Engineering and factories kept the production timeline on track, promptly addressing adjustments or issues.
